Bill is the managing partner of Capitol Consultants, a firm specializing in government relations, public affairs and issues-based grassroots advocacy. He has been DBA's primary contract lobbyist since the association was founded. Bill has a long history in politics. He worked on several successful campaigns, including Governor Tommy Thompson's landslide third-term victory. At the age of 29, he became the youngest cabinet secretary in Wisconsin history when Governor Thompson made him Secretary of Commerce. Bill is also Executive Director of Competitive Wisconsin, a statewide non-partisan consortium of business, education and labor leaders that focuses exclusively on developing and advocating statewide policies to retain, grow and create businesses in Wisconsin.

Craig is the executive director of Wisconsin's Transportation Development Association, a statewide alliance of 400-plus transportation stakeholders committed to a strong transportation network that will support a robust economy and enhance quality of life for everyone. Thompson is a veteran legislative and policy analyst with more than 20 years of experience. Prior to joining TDA in 2006, Thompson served as the legislative director for the Wisconsin Counties Association where he managed legislative initiatives at the state and federal levels. His expertise is valued throughout Wisconsin's political spectrum, and he has been appointed to numerous boards and committees by Wisconsin governors Tommy Thompson, Scott McCallum, Jim Doyle and Scott Walker.
