Wisconsin dairy farmer Eric Grotegut explains how freestall barns are built to keep cows comfortable. Many dairy farmers house their animals in these types of barns, which allow the cows to eat, drink, rest and move around whenever they’d like. Eric mentions that freestall barns also create a better work environment for the employees who care for the animals and a more efficient process.

Duane Ambrosius of Bayland Buildings explains how farmers are making an investment in the dairy community when they build or improve a freestall barn. Bayland tailors the building to meet the customer’s farming philosophy.
