Tomorrow, Nov. 6, is Election Day, and the results will directly impact our ability to advance pro-dairy measures.
So, we cannot encourage you enough –PLEASE VOTE!
Earlier this fall, DBA announced support for several pro-dairy candidates. We endorsed Gov. Scott Walker and Atty. Gen. Brad Schimel in their bids for re-election. We also endorsed candidates in some of the state legislative races. Here is a complete list of our endorsements. We urge you to support these candidates. They have demonstrated an understanding of and commitment to the dairy community.
In addition to the state races, there are also local and federal races on the ballot. Incumbent Tammy Baldwin is being challenged by state legislator Leah Vukmir to see who should represent Wisconsin in the U.S. Senate. Also, all eight of the state’s seats in the U.S. House of Representatives will be on the ballot. DBA and its sister organization, Edge Dairy Farmer Cooperative, work with these offices to carry out federal dairy policy initiatives.
