Conferences and meetings are a great way to network and catch up with friends, but ultimately there must be something that peaks your interest for it to be a good use of your time.

People want a personalized conference experience, which can be challenging since we all like different things. Also, because our jobs are different, we have unique needs for our professional development.

Dairy Strong is coming up Jan. 17-18 at the Monona Terrace in Madison. It’s an action-packed two days and we want you to tailor your experience. Grouping presentations into topic “tracks” is one way we hope to help you do this. There are a few conferences you may have attended that do this — the Wisconsin Cheese Makers Association meeting in April inspired us to give the track concept a try.

Are you interested in legislative topics? Attend the legislative and advocacy track. Looking for the latest and greatest technology for your dairy? Attend the dairy technology track.

Maybe you have interests in several areas. You can cross over into different tracks. There are no rules; attend the sessions that peak your interest!

The Dairy Strong conference is taking shape, so make sure to check for the most current schedule.
